He has complex medical and behavioural issues. It is possible, although not definitively established, that Y suffers from ADHD and an autistic spectrum disorder. Y has a diagnosis of epilepsy. He has demonstrated, and continues to demonstrate challenging, violent and increasingly self-harming behaviour.
