Somek & Associates approved as an EWI Corporate Partner

byAnonym

Somek & Associates is the latest of EWI’s current Corporate Members to be brought across to the new Corporate Partnership scheme which was launched at the end of July. The new scheme, which is open to any organisation who employs or manages a panel of experts, seeks to recognise those organisations which ensure the quality of their experts; ensuring they are appropriately qualified and encouraging staff or panel members to develop their skills as an expert witness.

Somek & Associates is one of the biggest providers of Expert Witnesses in the UK delivering highly professional trained experts in a range of health professions: Occupational Therapy / Care experts, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Nursing, Midwifery, and other key health professions.

Sir Martin Spencer, Chair of EWI, said:

“We are pleased to confirm Somek & Associate’s status as one of our Corporate Partners. Somek & Associates pride themselves on robust processes for appointing and developing new Experts and this was extremely evident when we undertook their assessment. They invest heavily in providing an exceptional package of training and support for Experts developing their practice and we are excited to work with an organisation that places such an emphasis on this important role. ”

Alison Somek, Chief Executive Officer, said,

“All of us at Somek & Associates are delighted to be appointed a Corporate Partner of the Expert Witness Institute. The EWI is undoubtedly the premier organisation for experts promoting the proper administration of justice and early resolution of disputes We are proud to be associated with the EWI, with its great values and standards that are in line with our own. With expert witnesses rightly being under ever greater scrutiny, we aim to develop our partnership with EWI to ensure expert witnesses are properly trained and skilled for the betterment of the justice system as a whole.”
