Podcast Episode 4: Expert Fees

bySean Mosby

In Episode 4 of the Expert Matters Podcast, Simon and Sean discuss Expert Fees. We catch up with Dominic Woodhouse from Partners in Costs to discuss cost management and budgeting in civil proceedings. Dominic explains the cost management regime, talks about the pressures that affect fees in civil litigation, and provides a top tip for experts. We also look at the recent judgment in CXR v Dome Holdings on the long running issue of whether claimants should be required to provide a breakdown of agency fees, before finishing up by reflecting on feedback from members on the challenges with the legal aid system.
